Horrible experience

Horrible experience, don't buy from this site. Have tried to return my glasses but their phone number doesn't work and they don't reply to emails, social media, nothing. Stay away, it's a scam. 140 Euro lost.

Disappointed and frustrated

Love Persol, hate the webiste and customer service experience.
I recently bought a pair of sunglasses from persol.com. I signed up for their Makers' Program in order to receive a free engraving on my sunglasses. I followed the sizing procedure on the website and, having owned a pair of Persols before, bough the standard size.
When my glasses arrived, the did not fit. They are very narrow on my face and particularly uncomfortable around the temples.
I contacted Persol via the e-mail address provided on the website. I did not hear back for three days, during which time I also tried to phone them (number did not connect) and contact them via the "Contact Us" box on the website. Three days after initial contact, they got back to me to say that I can't return the item because it is engraved, as per their policy. The Returns Policy is listed on a small section at the bottom of the website page. I was not warned when I chose to engrave my glasses that I would not be able to return them. More fool me, I guess.
I expressed to them that the item was not as described on the website as per their sizing guide and that I would like a refund. They refused, saying it was against their Returns Policy. I requested a callback from a manager and provided my phone number.
He phoned, I missed the call, he left me a message and stated they couldn't accept a return as per their Policy, and invited me to call back if I wanted to talk. He did not leave a number, and when I called the number that came up back, it went to an automated answer-phone service.
I feel angry and like I have been duped. Again, I like Persol sunglasses and their products are great, but the website is clunky, unresponsive and unhelpful and lead me to choose a product that didn't fit and that I couldn't return. The customer service experience was also unresponsive and unhelpful. I will avoid buying through persol.com in future.
